ABOUT US...
The Decatur Soccer Club is a nonprofit competitive soccer club established in 2008 to create a unique soccer environment that incorporates high level instruction within a tight knit family atmosphere. We are dedicated to providing the young men and women of our community the opportunity to grow as athletes, but more importantly, to grow as respectful and productive members of society. Our philosophy is centered around the thought that youth soccer is not just about winning games or championships. We feel it is our mission to use the game to teach these young men and women some of the skills necessary to be successful in life such as good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage, honesty, integrity and self belief. Beyond the field of play, we are actively involved with the local chapters of the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, local church organizations and we help run youth soccer camps (ages 3-8). The club also maintains a strict, year round academic standard for all of our members consisting of requirements that even exceed Worcester County’s requirements for sports participation.
